About Me: Kelli LaRocca
Hi!! So let’s see, about me – I grew up in a small town outside of Houston, Texas, called Spring. After high school I moved out to California where I attended UCLA and majored in Communications. At UCLA I was an Alpha Phi, and studied abroad in Florence fall of my junior year where I fell in love with gelato and doner kebabs (like every other basic white girl out there, I know). I moved up to the Bay Area after graduating to work in the Tech Industry, although I can’t quite say improving sales productivity is my passion. I love traveling, working out, spending time with my friends, and food.
For the past few years I have kept an excel doc that outlines all the restaurants I have tried, want to try, and all my thoughts about the food, service, specific dishes, and overall experience. After having multiple people ask me to send them the excel doc I thought why not share it with everyone.
Food facts: I don’t like chocolate. Italian is my favorite cuisine, but Dim Sum is a close runner up. Sugar and cheese is the best remedy for a bad day. I will do just about anything for freshly grated Parmesan cheese, a good slice of pizza, an aesthetically pleasing charcuterie plate, a cupcake with the perfect ratio of icing to cake, fluffy ice cream, Texas queso, a bday truffle from Momofuku Milk Bar, or a doner kebab.
